50 Mech Lore, 20th Circle, Woodcutters Hatchet from the shop in Kaerna Village, Kort Potion	Cat, Dog, Goose, Falcon, Raven	Go to Kaerna Village and buy a woodcutter's hatchet. Go to a sanrisi tree with long gnarled branches (There's one in wildland goblins in Haven, on the side road to Dirge, and one near death spirits) and "cut sanrisi tree with my hatchet" may have to cut several times to get the branch loose. don't forget to pick it up when it does fall ;) Carve your branch with a carving knife until you have a "dark talisman." Head to the Riverhaven temple and "dip my talisman in pool" which is to the east after you enter the temple. (the new crossing temple may have a pool now also, if so it should work the same way) You can now rub and carve your talisman, this way you can be sure that you are getting the familiar you want before offering. Now you'll have to head out the west gate of Crossing, and head west and north (not into goblins) until you find a mound. You'll then have to "offer potion to mound" while holding your dark talisman in one hand.

(SE, E,E from NE gate of crossing) PULL TREE to obtain bark. (You can only get 3 at a time now) Go to area near Shard. (From the path to Steel Claw Clan go South, climb stile, e, s, s, w, w) Free your hands and PUT RIGHT HAND IN FIRST HOLE Get bark in your right hand and PUT LEFT HAND IN SECOND HOLE Put bark away and put holy water (just the water not water in a container) in your left hand and PUT RIGHT HAND IN THIRD HOLE Go west and past the stairs, GIVE BARK TO MAN Get the talisman and get out of the area entirely, rub it once, carve it until you see fine details.
