Fletching Introduction

It is currently possible to carve two of the three types of bows, only Long Bows and Short Bows can be fletched. It takes approximately 10 ranks in a bow to carve an arrow and 20 ranks to carve a bow. The ranks for arrows can be in any bow, for the bow itself it needs to be in the bow you're trying to carve.

As your skill in the bow increases so will the quality of the bow. The quality of the wood plays an important part too.

Fletching Arrows

1. Forage <wood type> stick
2. Hold stick in left hand and knife in right
3. Shape shaft from stick
4. Shape shaft from stick
5. Put knife aside, take shaper
6. Shape shaft
7. Put shaper aside, take knife
8. Notch my shaft with my knife
9. Notch my shaft with my knife
10. Fletch my shaft
11. Put knife aside, take flights
12. Fletch my shaft
13. Take glue
14. Fletch my shaft
15. Put glue aside, take shears
16. Fletch my shaft
17. Put shears aside, take arrowhead
18. Affix my arrowhead

1. Forage <wood type> limb
2. Hold limb in left hand and knife in right
3. Shape longbow from my limb
4. Shape longbow
5. Put knife aside, take shaper
6. Shape longbow

11. Put knife aside, take shaper
