Bonus
As far as your bonus goes, if ya howl when hidden and it is like a "wolf calling the pack" then your bonus is ok, if you "bray like a cow" then it is trashed pretty good. Note both of these cover a wide range so its pretty hard to tell. Other signs include if ya trash your bonus and try to beseech the wind at a few leaves blow around but that's it and if it gets worse then you will be flat out told your relationship with nature sucks and you can't beseech. Also if you have Earth Meld and a fairly decent amount of PP (100 and up I'd say) the duration of EM at various mana levels will change in relationship to your bonus (ie better bonus = longer duration) - Rej

Companions

Racoon
Stat requirements - 13th Circle, 50 hiding, combined Tracking and Perception 80+, sum of wisdom, intel, and charisma must be 34+
Where to get one - Head to Leth, and go to the gate at the southeast part of town. Head sw out of the gate, and I'm fuzzy on what to do next. If my memory is correct, you have to "PUT CORN ON GROUND" and go into hiding for a little while. You'll hear some rustling every now and then, that will tell you that your in the right room. eventually a raccoon should come into the room and eat the corn...then you need to "APPROACH RACCOON" If your ready for a companion, it will look at you with little fear in it's eyes, then you can "SIGNAL RACCOON JUMP" to get it to jump into your arms. Once you get your Raccoon, don't stay in the room too long, cause a bird will come in and eat your raccoon. if your having trouble getting the coon to come out, make sure you don't have any debt, warrants, and that your bonus is in tact
Wolf
Stat Requirements - You have to be 35th circle, have 35 ranks in Animal Lore, 15 charisma, and all the reqs for a coon. You need your bonus intact, you need to be debt free and warrant free, need a bottle of milk (sold at many inns and food establishments one is in Arthe Dale at the NE corner next to the map shop),
Where to get one - Go out the west gate of Crossing, past the brook and cougars until you get to the room with the trail into Ogres. Hold the milk in your hand and kneel. Wait for a pack of wolves to come (sometimes it could take up to 10 minutes) Once the pack appears, you need to type "approach pack". If you are eligible for a wolf it will leave a baby wolf with you. If the pack snarls at you and moves on, you either don't meet the requirements, have a bad bonus, have a warrant out for you or have a debt.

Corik's Wall

NOTE: I don't know what level this is intended for. I did it at 94th and had 0 problems

  1. Travel down to Corriks wall http://elanthipedia.com/wiki/RanikMap68a
  2. Find the Commander roaming the walls.
  3. Ask commander about job. He will either tell you to talk to Donitee or The Second (Eothim).
  4. Donitee is located in the herb shop in Shadow's Reach, same map as before. The second is located in the Armory of Corik's wall
  5. Ask Donitee about job and she will ask you to forage a random number of herbs (20-30) I got hulnik grass but it may vary. You have to forage these but can do so beforehand
  6. Ask Eothim about job and he will ask you to get him a random number of longbows or short bows (20-30) depending on which skill is higher. You can buy these beforehand
  7. After each side job is complete you will have to go back to the Commander to get the next one
  8. After both are complete ask the Commander about job again and he'll send you to the Captain of the Watch Grimnur
  9. He will appoint you a member of the guard and you will have to spend a lot of time on the wall without dying or climbing down. You will also get more time added if you stand around or hide so you have to kill.
  10. It takes a little while for the critters to spawn took me about 5 minutes.
  11. They come in waves so after you kill the first wave you'll have to wait again
  12. As annoying as it is you'll want to go back and forth across the forward battlements to make sure you're getting them right away or you'll get slapped with more time or you can use hunt.
  13. Each wave will come closer together and have more creatures
  14. After you've killed enough Grimur will come and tell you to ask him about mission go talk to him and you'll have completed the quest.

Slips

Bards, Thieves, Rangers, and Necromancers are capable of learning SLIP maneuvers to some degree, and any of the four guilds can teach any member of the four guilds who is eligible.

To teach another person, you will need some skill in teaching, and SLIP TEACH (person). You do not need any scholarship to be able to receive teaching, however.

Once the ability to SLIP is transferred, the abilities will accumulate naturally as you circle without the need to return to a guildleader.

SLIP abilities use a combination of Stealing and Stalking skill, while accumulation of abilities is circle based

Level 30 - Ability to Slip personal objects to/from personal containers.
Level 40 - Ability to Slip worn items on and off.
Level 50 - Ability to Slip into hiding and stalk a target at same time.
Level 60 - Ability to Slip into hiding and sneak a direction at same time.
Level 90 - Ability to Slip items from the ground to one's possession. --Currently removed from the game.
