It's a good idea to think about joining a clan once you have been here a while. Each clan has it's own personality, so it's a good idea to get to know the people in the clan before you choose one. Each clan has a special item which will allow you to teleport anywhere in the game once every 24 hours. You first have to visit the room to set the teleportation spot before teleporting back there though. The item also allows you to talk to the other people in your clan through a special clan chatter channel among other things which will be explained below. You can also click on each clan to find the leader and see if they have any information about themselves up.

Here are the commands that work with the clan items:

SLAP

This sets the teleportation point, and then at any point you can slap again to be teleported back. For example you slap your item in crossing, travel to M'Riss, then slap your item again to teleport back to crossing instantly.

TAP

Displays your Clans special title...there is a male and a female. Use the title system to clear it when you don't want it displayed.

RUB

Turns Clan chatter on and off

POKE

Gives a list of current clan members (I think it's just ones that are logged in)

WHISPER <item> <Clan members name>

Gives the room description of where the clan member is. This is great when you suspect a clan member is dead and ghosting.

As I said, we are a pretty helpful group. Many of us will also be happy to help you with start up coin, or donate forged weapon, tanned goods, and other player made items. Below is a list of people who will help, feel free to add your name if you wish to contribute something.

For the most part we all get along pretty well. But if you come into TF and start running your mouth off, or begin acting like an ass...be prepared to pay the consequences. If you piss off the wrong person then you can expect to be hunted down, killed, and possibly camped and walked. Likewise if you go on unwarranted killing sprees you can guarantee the favor will be returned, and usually doubled.

There are Droughtman's arches scattered in several major cities of Elanthia. The Arches are a central meeting area that many of us use for healing, sparring, or just getting together and talking. Whichever city you enter the arch in, that is where you will exit. Unless you depart inside the arch, in which case you will rezz in Theren. Arch locations are as follows:

There are several empaths in the game who have healing scripts. The universal command is to lean on them and they will begin healing you. Several of them can usually be found in the Droughtmans arches. Two of these empaths are Gator and Brij, and they can perform several extra tasks. Here is a list of what they can do and how to use them.

Sailing the Raider or the Bladewake - These boats activated by chattering the following commands.

(Raider|bw) report - The captian will log in and tell you the current location of the boat.

(Raider|bw) list - The empath will chatter a list of the available ports which you can send the Guppy to.

(Raider|bw) <destination> - The captain will log in, and sail the boat to the port your port.

Raising services

Chatter Raider Raise <deader> <destination>

The only destinations for raising right now are Crossing, Ratha, and Arch. Please have wounds healed before chattering for a raise.

Rishlu will log in and instruct you where to drag the deader. He will then sail the Raider to the appropriate port (unless he's already there) and walk to the raise spot. He will restore your memories and raise you, then return to the Raider. This section is finally working pretty well, but I still get the occasional hangup. Please let Gator know if the script stalls before raising you.

Rub Gator - Follow the instructions that are whispered to you, but Gator will log off, and Grubber will log in. Give him your gem pouches or up to 2 bundles at a time and he will sell them for you. He does not take a cut off of the profit, and please don't tip him or the next person will just get your coin.
